Come for open play at the Community Center Gym. During this unstructured play, children can socialize through group and parallel play. This is the perfect time for you and your child to meet your friends or make some new ones. This is a drop-in program. No advance registration is necessary. No supervision is provided, so parent/caregiver must stay with their children in the gym. Check the open gym schedule on our website for no class dates.

Is your two-year-old ready to try a class on their own? Then this is the perfect class for them! Each week we will have toys out for the children to play with and explore as parents’ drop-off and leave to encourage your child’s independence. After playtime, we will introduce the children to carpet time, sing songs, listen to stories, and create an art project. Each class will also have a snack time to allow the children to sit together and socialize. Please inform us of any allergies at the time of registration. We encourage parents to drop off and leave quickly as this will aid in the children’s transition to “school”. Are you looking for something educational and creative for your 4-Year-Old Preschooler to do in the afternoon? Enroll them in our Monthly Enrichment Class. Each monthly class a different enrichment theme will be covered to keep your child active and exploring their creativity through playtime, lunch, and activities. Please pack a sack lunch for your child. Please inform us of any allergies at the time of registration. This is a drop-off program.
NOTE: Is your student enrolled in the As We Grow Preschool morning program? Have our Park District staff pick them up and transport them on the Wauconda Park District bus. They will have organized free play and gym time during the remaining 45 minutes before heading to the enrichment class in Room D at 12:15pm.

Do you want to be a cheerleader? Join our squad as we learn basic cheers and dances. In class students will learn cheerleading basics, such as arm movements, jumps and smiles.
