The Wauconda Park District is seeking a motivated individual to build upon our current offerings in both Athletics and Fitness. This position reports directly to the Director of Recreation and is responsible for the development, management, and promotion of Youth and Adult Athletic Leagues, Classes and Camps, Open Gym, the Fitness Center and Group Fitness Classes.

QUALIFICATIONS: Â Beyond The Bell counselor must be at least 16 years of age and possess current American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications. This candidate must also have the ability to enforce regulations in a courteous and polite manner, and maintain a positive attitude.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years High School education or equivalent G.E.D. with experience working with children.
HOURS:  Monday-Friday 6:15 am–9:30am, then back for the afternoon, 3:15pm-6:00pm, on days school is in session. AND, 6:15am – 6:00pm on school days off. Additional hours as needed to enable the program to operate.
