Practical Living Yoga (14 years & up)

Combining the 5,000 year old tradition of Hatha Yoga with contemporary exercise physiology provides an excellent base to build a yoga practice. Barbara Speitz blends Eastern philosophy with Western “know how” for a practical approach to wellness. Enhance mind/body awareness by increasing strength, flexibility, balance, proper breathing, and stress reduction. Enjoy the healing, noncompetitive and relaxing class environment. Wear comfortable attire and bring a mat. Barb is an internationally recognized master teacher who has conducted training workshops throughout India and the U.S. She was featured in Chicago Yoga Magazine and is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level.  No class on 11/28.

Pilates Plus Foam Rolling (14 years & up)

With NASM certified personal trainer, Maggie.

This form of exercise strengthens and lengthens muscles while you maintain and stabilize your core.  A variety of equipment provided will be utilized to enhance the power of the moves.  Participants will need to provide their own 35-inch-long foam roller.  Foam rolling will be taught in order to enhance flexibility while stretching.  All levels Welcome!  Note: No Class 11/30.

Tone (noun): the state of a living body in which the functions are healthy and performed with vigor.

Class will use a variety of equipment such as weights, resistance bands, stability and weighted balls to strengthen the body from head to toe.  No class 11/25.

Get to know our facility with the help of our personal trainer, Maggie.  The gym, fitness floor, and dance studio will all be used to keep variety in this class.  Weather permitting this class will go outside on occasion.  This class emphasizes the core through cardio, strengthening, and stabilization exercise.  A multitude of different level workouts will be provided to accommodate every level of participant from beginner to advanced.  No class 11/30.

Life is too short for boring workouts. Body-blasting music mixes with 60 minutes of sweating, smiling and laughing through Pilates, Yoga and kickboxing moves. This is the new Jazzercise! Strides 360® by Fit4Mom

Strides 360® promises a heart-pumping workout designed to increase your endurance while also developing speed, agility, and quickness to help you sprint through mom life.  Bodyweight conditioning is strategically placed to provide recovery, strength and round out your workout.  It’s for any mom interested in a workout that can be as hard as you need it to be on your good days or scaled back on days when you’re not sure how you made it out the door!  Bring your kiddos with you in the stroller or leave the kiddo at home and come play with your mom friends.  Either way, the hour will fly by and leave you energized for the rest of your day!  Your first class is FREE!

Stroller Strides® by Fit4Mom

Stroller Strides® is a stroller-based fitness program designed for moms with little ones.  Each 60-minute total body workout incorporates cardio, strength training, toning, songs and activities.  Taught by certified instructors (who are also moms), Stroller Strides® is a great workout for any level exerciser.  There is no age limit for kids, as long as your child will sit in the stroller for the duration of the class then they are the right age.  Your first class is FREE!
