The Wauconda Park District has boat slips and launch passes for your boating needs. Park District residents who had a marina slip in 2019 who wish to reserve the same slip number, may do so between November 1st-December 14, 2019. If you would like to change to a different slip number for 2020, you must first reserve the same slip number you currently have, and then stop by or call the Park District office between December 16th – December 28th to put in a request to change your slip number at that time. A $100 deposit will be required to hold your slip and balances are due no later than Saturday, February 15, 2020. NOTE: The address on the boat registration must match the address on the registration form to be given Wauconda resident rates.
Open registration for residents and non-residents will be on a first come, first served basis. Proof of residency, current drivers license, license plate numbers for both car and trailer, current boat insurance card, and current watercraft registration are required at the time of registration. All issued cards must be listed in the same name as the person registering for a slip or launch pass to qualify for resident rates – no exceptions. Registration fee must be paid in full at time of registration.
Keys will not be issued unless all required information is presented. Seniors, age 62 and over, will receive 50% off launch rates only.

All marina slip fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Park District reserves the right to remove or change boat owner’s slips, if it is in the best interest of the District.

The following information must be provided in order to release your stickers and keys. There will be no exceptions, no keys or stickers will be issued without all necessary paperwork.
All information must be current in order to issue your keys and stickers.
- Proof of residency (current driver’s license, utility bill).
- License plate number for both car and trailer.
- Watercraft registration card – must be current card (to qualify for resident rates, this card must be in the same name and address as the resident registering for the slip – no exceptions.)
- Copy of Boat Insurance Policy
