Are You Ready?
- Are you prepared for the unexpected?

- These and other safety questions are answered in the emergency preparedness class being offered by the Village of Wauconda.
Wauconda Community Emergency Response Team wants you to be prepared for emergencies.
Wauconda is hosting a CERT Training Class for the public, and those interested in becoming new members. Meet new people and learn important safety skills.
A free six-week training course on emergency preparedness will run Tuesdays September 10, 17, 24 and October 1, 8, 15 – 7:00-9:00pm.
Final Exam and Demonstrations: Saturday, October 19 – 8:00-12:00pm
Sessions will be held in the training room at Wauconda Fire District Station #1
CERT training promotes a partnering effort between emergency services and the people that they serve. The goal is for emergency personnel to train members of neighborhoods, community organizations, or workplaces in basic response skills. After completion of this course individuals become eligible to join CERT, and then integrated into the emergency response capability for their area. For questions regarding the CERT program, or to register please email: email@example.com
