Pizza Making

Bon Appetit! Participate in a night of creativity and craftsmanship as you make an edible masterpiece. This hands-on workshop will allow you to learn about the art of pizza making with the help of an expert chef and craft your own 12” Pizza. At the start of the event, there will be a complimentary drink. We will then make our very own pizzas, choosing from a variety of sauces and toppings. House salad will be served family-style while we wait for the pizza to cook. This is for adults 21 years and up. Pre-registration by 4/24 is required.

Kayak Trip with Lunch

Take in the stunning nature and beauty surrounding Bang’s Lake, as we paddle and explore in a planned tour, we will provide kayaks. This is a great opportunity for relaxation, information, and reflection. After our kayaking adventure, we will return to the Marina for an included catered lunch from JJ Twigg’s! 1-double and 1-triple kayak is available upon request if desired instead of a single kayak.

Cernan Earth & Space Center

Lay beneath the stars and learn about the celestial bodies above us. This trip, to River Grove, offers perspectives on planets not visible to the naked eye, allowing us to see the night sky like never before on this out-of-this-world trip. Transportation by park district van; After the stargazing experience, we will travel to Connie’s Restaurant, dinner is on your own. This is for adults 21 years and up. Cantigny Park

Looking for a perfect blend of nature and history? Cantigny, located in Wheaton, IL,  is the ideal destination! Join us for a tour of its stunning gardens and 1,000+ botanical varieties, the Tank Garden, and the First Division WWII Museum. Afterward, we’ll head to Ellyn’s Grill for a delicious dinner that is available for purchase. Transportation will be provided via the park district van. This is for adults 21 years and up.
