Hallow’s Eve Charcuterie

Unleash your inner culinary artist in this fang-tastic class where you’ll assemble a Halloween-themed charcuterie board featuring a delightful array of meats, cheeses, dried fruits, and sweet treats. Guided by instruction, you’ll learn the art of pairing flavors and arranging your selections into a visually stunning display. Once your masterpiece is complete, enjoy the fruits of your labor with a tasting session. All ingredients and supplies are provided, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Soda will be available to complement your creations. Pre-registration by 10/8 is required.

Joliet Prison Flashlight Tour

Take a journey through the Old Joliet Prison, a limestone fortress built in 1858 and closed in 2002. Nestled just 45 minutes from Chicago and prominently featured in The Blues Brothers, Prison Break, Empire, and other parts of pop culture. We will take a historic tour that immerses you in its architectural grandeur, infamous inmates, and decaying beauty. Afterward, we will stop at Ike & Oak Brewing Company. Transportation and tour is included, food is on your own. Pre-registration by 10/3 is required.

Whisk Baking Class

Christmas Light Show and Historic House Tour

Explore a dazzling array of experiences as you stroll through a ó-mile path. Along the way, music-orchestrated light shows, festive decorations, larger-than-life flower sculptures, and a 28-foot Christmas tree will enchant you. You can also step inside the McCormick House, a unique opportunity to explore this historically preserved home, blending history with holiday charm. We will stop at Moveable Feast and Co. for dinner. Transportation and tour is included, food is on your own. Pre-registration by 11/7 is required.

Candle Making

Find your inner flame and spark an idea into a candle in this candle making class. You will get to choose from over 100 unique scents that you can mix and match and then mold into a one of a kind candle that is included with the event. While the candles are setting, we will travel Ella’s Italian Pub. Transportation and candle is included, food is on your own. Pre-registration by 11/28 is required.

Whether you are a whizz in the kitchen or a future contestant on worst cooks in America, come learn how to cook a dish from scratch with a professional chef at Taste Buds Kitchen! We will learn how to cook a dish entirely from scratch alongside a professional chef. In this hands-on experience, you’ll not only follow recipes, you’ll build essential skills like knife techniques, sautéing, roasting, and flavor layering, under expert guidance. You’ll dive into every stage of meal preparation from selecting quality, seasonal ingredients to plating your final dish, boosting culinary confidence and creativity. Join us for a deliciously rewarding experience where you go home with new found cooking skills. Transportation and cost of making the dish included. Pre-registration by 12/10 is required.
