CLUB program update as of August 7, 2020:
As Wauconda School District moves to an e-learning format for the Fall semester 2020, we have decided to offer full-time CLUB for those working families that need care during school hours. Our full-time CLUB program will be very similar to our Summer Care program that was offered this past summer. Below, you will find information about this program.
Club Hours – The CLUB program will be available Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Options for registration include five days a week (Monday-Friday), three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday). While the hours listed above are the times this program will be offered, participants may arrive no later than 9:00 am and be picked up no earlier than 3:00 pm, unless 48-hour notification is given in advance to CLUB staff.
Registration – Participants currently registered for our CLUB program will be given priority to register for the full day CLUB program, beginning Monday, August 10 and Thursday, August 13 for people wishing to join CLUB not currently enrolled.
The cost for CLUB will be $194 per week for five days, $117 per week for three days, and $78 per week for two days. Payments will be due on Friday before the start of each week beginning on Friday, August 21. All participants will be required to have payments automatically deducted from a credit/debit card, bank account, or electronic check, unless other arrangements are made. Previously registered Club participants will have their $50 deposit applied to this new program. If you choose not to participate a refund of your deposit will be processed via check during the month of September. New participants will be required to pay a $50 deposit and possibly their first week payment prior to starting Club. We will need at least 48 hours for new participants to begin. Attached you will find a Fall 2020 Club registration form that must be completed and returned to register your child for the new program. You can return forms via email to my email at email@example.com, drop at the Community Center front desk or return to the Community Center drop box in our drive-up circle.
Care Policies and Procedures – Once enrolled in the Club program, parents will receive a copy of the Parent Handbook Outlining Policies and Procedures of our program, including a communication plan between parents and staff, should a case of COVID-19 appear in our program. This will also include a list of supplies that each child must provide (face mask, hand sanitizer, etc.). Masks will be required during all indoor activities unless your child is exercising. With the assistance of District 118, we expect to be able to assist each child with daily e-learning tasks. It is essential that all participants come to Club with all school supplies they need to complete the assigned lessons each day. The Wauconda Park District will not take responsibility for your child’s success or lack of success with the e-learning program. Our staff will do our best to assist your child with their daily lessons.
All participants and staff will be expected to follow cleaning standards and social distancing practices in accordance with the CDC and IDPH guidelines. All staff will be trained in OSHA and CDC guidelines related to COVID-19.
