Keep your eyes to the sky on Saturday, May 11 – 12:00-3:00pm. Wauconda Park District is hosting a free kite fly event as part of the Illinois Association of Park District’s (IAPD) statewide “Flying 4 Kids”. The goal of the kite fly is to promote a fun, family- oriented recreational event and raise awareness of the Park District Youth License Plate, which features a four-color kite.
Participants, bring your own kites to fly. Spectators are welcome to enjoy this fun leisurely kite fly.
Our concession stand will be open!
Hot Dogs, pop, Gatorade, chips and candy will be available for purchase. As well as Kiki’s Cotton Candy truck!
All the action takes place at Wauconda Park District’s Cook Park
