All boats on Bangs Lake are required to be inspected by Wauconda Police Department Marine Patrol Unit and pay the annual safety inspection fee. This includes daily, seasonal launch pass holders and slip owners. Inspections may be purchased on Bangs Lake by locating the Marine Patrol Unit OR on the dates we are hosting at Wauconda Park District locations.
Drive-Up BOAT SAFETY INSPECTION will be conducted by Wauconda Police Department in our FEST LOT at Wauconda Park District – Cook Park – 600 N Main St). Drive up with boat on trailer. Open to all!!
May 19 – At Bangs Lake Marina – Bangs Lake Marina slip owners only (boat in slip).
June 2 – At Beach Park Marina – Beach Park Marina slip owners only (boat in slip).
